Information on changes in the organization DMZ – Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence

The department acts as a central partner for artificial intelligence (AI) in explaining, consulting and implementation of AI at Airbus Commercial. The main challenges are to develop robust and comprehensive AI systems with responsible and sustainable deployment in compliance with upcoming European regulations. The objective is to develop and integrate AI models as services into the right departments in order to have real added value. For this, it is necessary to reorganize the expertise in AI in the methods of automatic learning of algorithms, to have a team dedicated to the development of models, to ensure the proximity of technical skills with management and to have a distribution balanced team size. DMZ has 47 employees including 31 in France. Following this reorganization, there is no job cut, no change of contract or place of work.

Information on the levels of working time arrangements on the  non-production perimeter of AIrbus SAS

Airbus SAS non-managerial staff is considered on a non-production perimeter because the activities are not directly linked to the production and maintenance of the aircraft product. Working parties activities are kept outside the production scope.

From January 1, 2024, non-managerial Airbus staff will be on a reference working time 1607 annual hours, i.e. an average of 35 hours per week, with a weekly hourly reference of 37.5 hours, which will give 15 days of RTT per year. The salary will be on a base of 35 hours.

Shift work organizations based on an annual working time less than or equal to 1607 hours are not subject to the working time adjustment above.

Are therefore not concerned:
– Substitute teams (VSD),
– AIRTAC teams,
– Part of the ATI staff with a weekly cycle less than or equal to 35 hours (Agents of the maintenance control center, maintenance technicians, supervisors of maintenance technicians),
– Simulator maintenance technicians.

FO regrets that the 38-hour weekly package was not retained, for reasons of alignment with Airbus Operations SAS, which would have given the right to 18 days of RTT per year.

The next CSE will take place on Friday May 26, 2023
